I just feel like if he'd stand a little more upright with his hands a little further up and back, he'd be able to take that inside pitch, stay open, extend his arms and pull it for power as well.

It seems like the only time he can it it with authority right now is oppo or with lefty is trying to get it out and away from him and misses a little bit.

But he's definitely showing progress in that he's at least driving the pitches on the outer half now; those were slow rollers to short 2 weeks ago.

With the news of Craig being optioned to Pawtucket, it's amazing to think, but his Lis Franc injury has become effectively a career ruining injury. All from a bad turn around first.

Seemed to me it was the opposite of what he needed to be doing. He came in with the mentality of hitting for more power, and kept trying to pull all those outside pitches, thus rolling them over.

if he's a gap to gap hitter with power, that's great, but he's going to get pounder inside and he's gotta flip open and be able to extend and keep it fair as you've said.

This team just doesn't quit. Even when they lose, they play a full game. Down 3 in the 2nd inning, still feel like the Cards are in the game.
