I have better things to do than troll the Cardinals thread. The Cardinals are an awesome team and an awesome franchise. Go figure. I was just curious why Kluber wasn't allowed to pitch the 9th to try and get the record. That record is sort of a big ****ing deal.

When Cody Allen, who has been shit all year, also carves you up then that's equal parts great pitching and bad hitting. The Cardinals acted like they'd never seen a breaking ball or a fastball up in the zone. They were flailing at balls two feet wide of the plate and getting torched by 94 mph gas.

It was an awful effort by the bats. Kluber did not have shutout stuff tonight.

It's a terrible thing when a guy like Kozma isn't even the clear-cut worst player on your roster. I do not understand how a team thinks it can carry 13 pitchers and 2 worthless parts like Pete Kozma and Tony Cruz and still keep winning. This ride will end. They're playing above their true talent right now and because of it, Matheny simply will not move on from guys that are clearly not major league baseball players.
