  • Reached the World Series 4 times since 2004 and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
  • Made the NLCS 9 times including the last 4 years 2011-2014
  • Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
  • 65 post season wins since 2004. 22+ wins more than any other team.

Instead of bases loaded, no outs, we ended up with a runner and first and two outs due to Holliday's stupidity and the ump's inability to recognize a ****ing strike.

That was about the worst kind of game imaginable. Certainly the worst of the season by far.

There's 1 out. Going to 3rd is not a big deal. Scoring the go ahead run is just a little more important. In this case the winning run.

You have to know how many outs there are on the base paths.

Meh, the triple play was a weird play. Yesterday absolutely. I don't know if he didnt read it off the bat but he obviously messed it up.

However, his last 5 or 6 ABS he's starting to drive the ball. Which is nice.

I would love to be wrong and honestly I wasn't against the trade initially but I had my doubts. Heyward seems to be an enigma.

I don't necessarily disagree. I think he was jerk ed around and asked to hit leadoff in Atlanta, which hindered some development. Some of that is him trying to cut out holes or so called holes in his swing.

Like DJ has brought up, from a talent and skill level perspective, he should/could be Bryce Harper type player. I dint think anyone would argue that he couldn't be a guy to hit 20 HRs, with a bunch of doubles and a high ops and steal some bases.

Mentally though, I don't know if the guy has it. That's not something I can determine as a fan as I have limited peeks in that window.
