The Academy is accepting nominations for Chiefs Planet MVP

No qualification criteria. Everyone is elgible for the Planet's MVP (Most Valuable Poster).

Much like art, its in the eye of the beholder. The Academy won't try to define what it takes to be the MVP, thats for you to decide.

For you, maybe its football knowledge, for others its that they are hilarious, lifetime achievment award etc etc. whatever floats your boat.

We will take nominations in this thread. The academy will create a final public poll. The poster that gets the most votes in that poll will be crowned Chiefs Planet MVP.

EDIT:
The final public poll/vote will include all posters who recieved more than one nomination. This nomination thread closes on Saturday at 1:00 pm central time.

Nominations:

the new server was Kurt Cobain, who has since changed his name back to Kurt Cobain.

Just being technical. It's not an actual poster, but I don't mind it being nominated, since it's one of the better things that happened to the Planet this year. If anything, I would think the nomination for the new server should go to AustinChief. JMO though.

When it comes down to it, Austin Chief is the most valuable planeteer every year, since without him, this place doesn't exist.

Now we can put an end to this stupidity.
Thread over.

There are lots of good posters here. It sounds like Grand Llama provides an invaluable service that I've never used so he'd be a good choice. Lots of great comedy from the usual suspects. GoChiefs and his gifs. But I'm going to nominate milkman this year for his generally balanced football takes. He's not drafturbator and he's not true fan. He's something in between and I think that's worth honoring.

I should win it for sure, because 30-7 proves I wasn't trolling and in fact had a better read on this team than almost anyone. Truth hurts.

If I use the ignore function, I can't point out the dumbassery.

Simply stated, this is a popularity contest.

Call it what it is.

No one, other than Austin Chief, is more valuable than the next guy.

You're a good guy, and I value your input.

I just think this is stupidity.

I'm thinking repeat. Then again, I'm not around nearly as much as I used to be, (stupid work).

I'm nominating Bugeater for being a bitter mofo, (and keeping n00bs in check).

I'm pretty sure it's proper protocol to wait until after the nominations are official to begin campaigning.

Nah, he's a troll.

Because if we would have won 30-7 he would've pulled the "aw, shucks...I was just yanking your chains!" card...

Guy goes against the grain no matter what...

but hey...the vids and the gif'd up threads make it worth it.
