2010 Kansas City Royals Repository thread
All Royals All The Time!

After consultation with others who peruse the game threads we decided to create this as a repository for all things Royals. Minor league news, AL (ahem) Central (thanks Vonne) news and anything Royals can be found here.

alnorth, me and atleast 5 others will continue the game threads as usual. But if you locate something of interest.. ANYTHING.. deals on apparel, best ways in/out of the stadium, giveaways, great stories from this season or from seasons gone by, rumors, trades, anything.... feel free to post it here.

If a big story breaks, you can still start a thread about it. There is merely an all inclusive thread that will make a easy for us all to keep up with all things Royals.

If NY believes that '09 is the true Greinke, his left-right splits are pretty strong. Lefties hit .250 against him with only 4 HRs, compared to .211 and 7 for righties. Might have an influence because of the lefty-dominated lineup of BOS.

This might trump the other concerns about his makeup.

Lee left a huge crapton of money on the table to go play for Philly. He probably likes the team, the town, and the chance to play in one of the best rotations in modern baseball history, but my God is he going to hear it from the union.

He basically turned down guarantees of +2 years, $50MM and $40MM to not play in either NY or Texas.

There have been a couple people, including SI's Jon Heyman... tweeting that the Yankees just aren't that excited about trading for Greinke. I guess that's something that is not too surprising.

The union can go **** themselves. They already got off on the Werth and Crawford contracts. MLB had a chance to destroy the union in 1994, but they couldn't police themselves correctly.
