All Royals All The Time!

After consultation with others who peruse the game threads we decided to create this as a repository for all things Royals. Minor league news, AL (ahem) Central (thanks Vonne) news and anything Royals can be found here.

alnorth, me and atleast 5 others will continue the game threads as usual. But if you locate something of interest.. ANYTHING.. deals on apparel, best ways in/out of the stadium, giveaways, great stories from this season or from seasons gone by, rumors, trades, anything.... feel free to post it here.

If a big story breaks, you can still start a thread about it. There is merely an all inclusive thread that will make a easy for us all to keep up with all things Royals.

I here ya on Getz. Problem is, with our inability to sign enough effective position players, we generally have to settle for serviceable utility players.

I think Aviles should get a chance, he was solid with the bat, but they'll trade him for some healthy choice meals

Royals' Meche leaves with sore shoulder
(AP) – 15 hours ago

SURPRISE, Ariz. — Gil Meche pitched three innings Monday before leaving the Kansas City Royals' 9-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox with a sore right shoulder.

Meche allowed three runs and four hits, struck out one and walked one. He threw 31 of his 56 pitches for strikes.

Jake Peavy was hit hard during his three innings for the White Sox, yielding seven runs and 10 hits.

Bobby Jenks followed Peavy and struck out one in a perfect inning. It was the closer's first spring game since March 12 because of a calf injury.

I'll be at the game today if it isn't rained out. It's raining here in Phoenix but I think it should be good up in Surprise.

And he had "that look" in his eye when he told him. This allowed Trey to look deep within his soul and only then he knew Gil Meche was finishing that game if he had to throw left handed.

I think you mean FSKC. I'll miss most of it b/c I'm @ work but has anybody heard if Paul or Frank is going to be the primary color analyst this year?
