All Royals All The Time!

After consultation with others who peruse the game threads we decided to create this as a repository for all things Royals. Minor league news, AL (ahem) Central (thanks Vonne) news and anything Royals can be found here.

alnorth, me and atleast 5 others will continue the game threads as usual. But if you locate something of interest.. ANYTHING.. deals on apparel, best ways in/out of the stadium, giveaways, great stories from this season or from seasons gone by, rumors, trades, anything.... feel free to post it here.

If a big story breaks, you can still start a thread about it. There is merely an all inclusive thread that will make a easy for us all to keep up with all things Royals.

I love my Royals and have been a die hard since 1979 when I moved to the Kansas City area. Last night was my last Royals game under the ownership of the Glass family. I cannot continue to pump money into a ownership group that has no care for winning.

I think it's better to let pena play long term. Kendall was a crappy signing and a waste of money honestly. Yes, we did need a backup but im sure there was some clown that could've played for less money

I liked the movement on Rupe's fastball, plus his name was pretty cool. Was there no one else that is shittier than him in our shitpen. Anyways good to see a young guy getting a shot finally.

Because anytime you can sign the worst everyday player at his position, you simply have to make that move.

Lets be fair here. He has saved a lot of runs with his defense. And probably has shot as many guys as Buck would. It's just his bat sucks ass!!

No, he hasn't. Arguing that he blocks better than Buck or Olivo isn't saying much, and people run at will on Kendall.

Dude is a completely worthless signing, and we locked him up for two years. Meanwhile, we let better, cheaper options (Buck) walk and passed on two premium prospects in the draft (Wieters, Posey) because we couldn't afford them, allegedly. Somehow, though, we found comparable money to pay Kendall.

There is no defending the acquisition; it was and is asinine on every ****ing level.

WTF? Are you serious? Have you watched a single inning this year? I have been watching baseball my whole life and Jason Kendall is by far the worst major league catcher I have ever seen. Not even close.
