This issue has been coming up in several recent conversations....that new posters and those who don't post often, don't feel welcome, or comfortable to make comment. The Offseason, when its slow, is as good a time as any, to wade into the pool.

Let me say, that prior to joining the planet(a new start) I was very uncomfortable posting at the star.....because "these internet people seem to know each other". I sort of felt like I was interupting someones conversation at a cafe or something. It took "the mike keck incident" to make me just do the cannonball into the pool. I wasn't comfortable until I had an oportunity for a fresh start, when chiefsplanet came online....and it took awhile after that.

Every poster has a story and a personality. Those who have been here a long time, probably know enough about each other's lives to scare the shit out of all of us....just from accumulation of tidbits through the years.

Thats the great thing about opinions, thier your own thoughts. While others may disagree w/them its your opinion that matters most too you. So while some peeps try and toss sand in your eyes. Just remember that opinions are like arse holes. Eveyone has one and they all stink.

Here's the deal, Skip is one of the reasons I lurked for awhile too... But underneath his grumpy old man exterior, he's pretty cool. You've just got to either have back up (in my case I had the entire oldtimer night crew, Sky, Rausch, KCMizzou, ENDelt, Cody, Iowanian, Mr. Kotter, Phobia, Pastor Mike, Bwana, jiM, JimNasium, shit even Denise back then) or just grin and bear it.

I didn't "hook up" with them, Skip. I've support Damon Huard since week 2 last year. As odd as it is, GoChiefs, Hootie, and myself are the only ones that have been vocal about supporting him, so we get lumped together. But no big deal, right? Apparently not to you. You have some strange vendetta.

And hate to disappoint, but I've lurked for years. So, not sure n00b applies, but be that as it may.
