Hypothetical: Who gets Marshall?

Quote:
Adam Schefter reports that a first and third round picks offer from an NFL team means that the Broncos will say goodbye to WR Brandon Marshall.

Marshall is among 212 NFL players that will lose unrestricted status because the league and its union can't agree on a new labor contract.

Marshall made 101 catches this season for 1,120 yards and 10 TD's, he set the NFL record for most catches in a game with 21 against the Colts.
Here.

Also an interesting side note if true:
Quote:
Marshall said the right things, but he left quite a message: his locker is cleaned out. Nameplate and all. It's empty.
Here.

So, as most of you will remember the Broncos lost one of their two 1st round picks this year to the 49ers for trading up last year (dumb), so do they ask for a little less than the 1st and 3rd, maybe a 1st and a swap or something, I don't care, it doesn't matter really, but who do you see willing to do this?

Does Shanahan like Marshall enough, or can tolerate him enough, to trade for him? Campbell has a strong arm, so maybe Shanahan will want to give him an actual WR to throw to. The Skins had a lot of trouble getting big plays on O, so rather than draft a guy like Bryant, do they go with a known freak WR and head case, and pull the trigger on a trade like this? I am sure that Snyder would love the big name WR, and remember the Skins made the Champ/Portis trade in the past...

Maybe I'm naive, but I think the market for Marshall is much lighter than most believe. Dude is a headcase and a scumbag - he's too unreliable to give up a 1st + more in my opinion.

I could see Snyder pushing for it just because he's a football moron and doesn't understand how to build a team.

He's a jaywalking conviction away from a years suspension and has shown himself to be a team cancer and general asshat, albeit a talented one.

No way in hell a team gives up a 1st and a 3rd for a guy like that. At least one with any brains. We'll see who qualifies for the 2010 Off Season Dumbassery Award.

Jack Daniels, or Crown Royal? Both are pretty steep for that asshat.

I think someone probably will go after him,but at that price,I'd rather draft Dez Bryant.Looks to me like we don't get either one.

I don't think the market is a slim as some want to claim... the dude is going to be 26 in March, I'm unclear on his status in regards to being close to a league suspension.. but, I think a team in the #14-24 range would be willing to part with a R1 and other. Depending on the team.
