Biggest rip off restaurants

It's either got to be one of them damn noodle houses or the Olive Garden. Personally I think it's probably the Olive Garden.

Definitely the theme restaurants with the plastic animals that move while you're trying to eat. Mediocre food marked up 10x.

Sorta like a restaurant as an amusement park!

Definitely overpriced but fun.

Also a rip off even with kids: Chuck E. Cheese and Steak and Steak as some have mentioned.

Olive Garden is mediocre but I gotta admit they have one of the best Pasta e bundle of sticksioli soups and shrimp scampi siciliana brushetta. They'll even leave out the pasta for my allergy if they can. But it's definitely chain food and doesn't do real Italian justice.

Next time you go to the OG have them make you a bowl of half Pasta e bundle of sticksioli and half Zoupa Tuscana. I worked there as a server in my younger years and that is an employee special. It's ****in delicious.

True for those places EXCEPT for T-Rex cafe. T-Rex actually has good food, large portions, and not too bad on the price. Where they get you is the 2 hours you have to wait for your table in the gift shop. My kids are pretty well disciplined when it comes to spending Dad's dollar, but it is not unusual for Grandma to drop $40 on build-a-dino, $5 on gem mining, and another $10-20 in the gift store, and that is per child.

Beside RainForest I would have to choose Gates, since they try to trick you into buying boiled meat that is 90% fat, by drowning it in sauce and saying that it is BBQ.

How is Fazoli's a rip off? You get a lunch for $5 with all you can eat breadsticks. One of the benifits of being fat, is that they see you sitting there and automatically assume you want more breadsticks so they don't even ask.

Funny story. Last night I went to Fresh Choice. Behind me is this fat kid and his mom was telling him they were going there to eat healthy when we were walking in. Kid gets a microscopic cesar salad. He then proceeded to to load up on all the worst food they had in the place.

Funny thing was mom was in shape. She should have taken that plate of pasta and went upside his head with it.

Hey now, it is hard being a fat guy at a salad buffet with all of that jello and chocolate pudding looking at you. Souper Salad use to kill me with the Strawberry Shortcake in the buffet line.

He got all pasta dishes then went over and got pizza and several deserts. So much for a healthy dinner or procreation.

I think most chain restaurants will fall into this category. You are paying a premium for the atmosphere. I love Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Chili's and Appleby's, but you are paying more just because.
