New Kickoff Music

I was just wondering if they finally replaced the 'Start'em Up' crap when our Chiefs kickoff? Please God save us.:(

You know, I was at the game but I don't remember (only had three beers ... hey, I'm a cheap date! ;) )

Either way, I agree ... it's getting old.

~~Sick of that song.

I kind of like the start me up thing. It could be a Pavlovian response to knowing that football is here NOW; I don't know. Everytime the Chiefs were ready to return the kick, I would get goose bumps after the first riff. Maybe that's corny, but that's the way it is for me. :>

You're exactly right. Nothing like hearing that first guitar riff to get my blood pumping and realize that football is finally back for the season.

I don't think they should EVER change it. I get goose bumps everytime I hear it.

If I would I had elect a new song it would either be Fuel by Metallica , Jump Around by House of Pain, Bulls on Parade Rage Against The Machine, or Iron Man by Black Sabbath.

I agree about "Fuel" by Metallica. I also would like to hear "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent. How about "Do you really wanna hurt me?" when the other team is receiving the kickoff?

It's the NFL

Every stadium in the league plays that Stones song. I'll always laugh about the NFL's choice for music. The Rolling Stones, Queen (We Will Rock You, We Are the Champoins), and Gary Glitter's Rock & Roll part 1, 2 or whatever frigginn' part it is. Not an American band in the bunch. The irony is excruciating.

I think we should play 'Stanglehold' by Ted Nugent. It'd be perfect when we gotten pinned deep.

ChiefPriority,

They could start at: "I'm just a little silhouette of a man..."

or maybe "Hurts so good."
