lol. He's not going to last. Its going to be like that qb from Oregon last year. Going to give it a go, but its just going to give out on him. Guy is to big and strong to be trying to play on a busted up knee.

That's really the big issue. Merriman is nuts for wanting to play, but it's what the guy does. And he's never been accused of being a genius in the first place.

But WTF are the Chargers doing? The PR hit is going to be off the charts if they let him play. They'll basically be announcing to the world that they aren't concerned about Merriman or his future, and they couldn't care less if he cripples himself, because their only concern is whether he gives their team a better chance to win while he's out there.
