I don't get it....I understand he was voted as a captain. Yet Herm is saying they don't know who the starting MLB will be.

I might be misunderstanding this but!

There were a couple of LBs on waivers. If they were young and had some potential, I'd rather them be here than Harris.

I dont think they would have re-worked LJ's contract just 1 year after signing a new one. LJ would throw a fit worse than when Dick told him to take off the diapers....but reworking DJ's contract would be smart. he only has 2 years left i believe.
