Usually my deuce would sink but this time it floated. I am curious, any thoughts?

Need pics to help ease the analysis?

It has to do with the levels of air and gas in your poop that affect the density, and these changes air and gas levels can be caused by your diet.
Some people say it just has to do with the amount of fat in your diet, but that isn't necessarily true.

There are a couple of reasons why it floated.

I'm going to have to go with reason number two.

Sometimes the gases produced by bacteria in our gut don't have a chance to collect into a large fart bubble, but remain dispersed in the feces. The poop then comes out foamy, and has a lower density than water. Poop with a high fat content will also float.
