Good luck with the sale, Bill.

I'm amazed at the number of tickets available. People just aren't interested in going, or have no clue how much tickets actually cost.

People think (incorrectly) that prices on CL and Ebay are too high and aren't buying.

My tickets, for example, are upper level and cost $115 per. For some reason, people are expecting to get tickets at regular season face value.

Yep. I paid $230 for a pair of tickets in 340 row 3.

LOL, Reference? We can definitely get together. I'll be spending a majority of my time at Luv's and Monte's tailgate, but if you're not going to be there, I'm down to move around some. I've gotten a few open invites to ChenzA's dad's tailgate. I'm not sure where all I'll be, but you can almost assuredly find me near the CP tailgate.

I was actually pretty pissed when I checked the cheapest option available and saw 2 tickets in 340 row 30 for half that price. I thought to myself "Half ****ing price for 27 more rows of stairs to climb?" I almost emailed the front office, but decided not to waste my time. I would've gotten one of these;

Search completed listings on Ebay, and you'll see a bunch that didn't sell, and a lot that sold for face value or LESS.

I had an extra pair of 1st row uppers and didn't get a bite.

This is the other problem. Tons of people (like yourself) bought extra tickets hoping to make a quick buck on them. Seven years ago, doing that would have taken a lot of effort. These days, it's easy for people to sell, so a bunch of people jumped in expecting prices to be higher than face in the secondary market. That's caused supply to be higher than demand.

I'm sorry, but if a supply of a few thousand tickets - in a stadium that holds 77,000 - is greater than the demand to see the first home playoff game in forever - then yeah, this fanbase sucks balls.

I think you missed part of my post - people aren't willing to buy even at face value.

Because they don't HAVE to. It has nothing to do with willingness to pay. It has to do with # of tickets available vs. # of people looking.
