Movies and TV ATT Uverse vs Comcast XFINITY

I have ATT Uverse but am thinking of switching to XFINITY. A rep came by and said they've upgraded their lines (above my head) to be similar to UVERSE in my neighborhood. Anyone have XFINITY? It's cheaper than what I have and the internet is supposedly faster. I remember having big problems with comcast going out and customer service about 8-9 years ago though so I'm cautious.

Att in my area' isnt as fast as Comcast or i would have switched. They call me and ask if i want to switch, i said can you be as fast as comcast in my area, they say no, and the phone call is over.

I has U-Verse and still do in Mo. Loved it. uch better than Time Warner.

From my personal experience, Comcast is much better than ATT.

i complained about internet lag today when playing xbox and they bumped me up to about 40mb for free. lol Internet is pretty fast now. lol Still wish i had fios here though.

Just tell them that the gaming lag is unacceptable and it needs to be fixed or your going to disconnect the service. I didnt even have to talk to anyone it was all live chat.

xbox live lag is even more serious business. It pisses me off to no end, almost broke my arcade stick but i had to hold myself back, them things cost 150 bucks a pop. lol

I hate Comcast as a company but their services and internet are top notch in the cable industry. But they treat their customers like shit

I'm much much much happier with Comcast than I was with Uverse. No comparison.

Im using Uverse. I get 18mb's (roughly 2.2 MB) down. Up is a lot slower, but I don't often upload stuff.

Up time has been awesome, and anytime I have needed to, I have contacted ATT and had great service. Used to have Time Warner, never, ever, will I go back to that shit company for anything.

I had so many outtages with Comcast I just can't ever see myself going back unless there is no other option. I've had Uverse for a long time without many issues, with that being said Comcast could have gotten their crap together by now, but I just don't trust them.

I just switched from Xfinity to AT&T. ATT just put all new lines in my area so my internet is as fast or faster than what I had with Comcast. DVR is bigger and my bill is about $50 a month cheaper. TV all channels(on 4 TVs), Internet and Phone package. Happy with AT&T, and I got a $300 Visa card to boot!!
