ROn Paul Might Run 3rd Party

I spoke with Dr. Paul this afternoon about continuing the fight by running on a third party ticket. I want to share what he said to me and let you know what needs to be done to make this happen. It can happen, but it's going to take some work. If you are willing to support this effort, please share this event and call in:

Mitt Romney won't stand a chance at being president if RP runs 3rd party

No chance in hell.

It would jeopardize his son's political aspirations.

Never will happen.

His son doesn't have a chance in hell at ever being the Republican nominee.

Ron should run 3rd party especially after the way the Republican party has treated him.

His son isn't even 50 yet, I think. He's young, and has 30 years of being a part of the Republican Party ahead of him.

Stay favorable in the party's eyes, and who knows. Maybe you get to be a department secretary, and ten years later that's how people identify you, a total image makeover, and you've become viable again.

You never know. The Paul family knows this. No way Ron jeopardizes Rand's future by pissing all over the GOP and giftwrapping the election for Obama.

You are naive and wrong. The only way Rand has a chance is to sell out.

I'd say he's right. The Paul position doesn't play right now. It might if we continue down are current path though.

Now isn't the time and I'd bet Paul isn't that stupid.

That's exactly right. Direkshun doesn't know how the RNC operates. His confront of evil is very low.
Rand will be marginalized anyway—eventually. We're dealing with snakes.

I had this same thought today and was surprised to see this thread. I just wonder if Paul really would is all.
Paul should have never played nice with Romney—that was a big mistake.

Probably.

The Ron Paul supporters don't seem to realize this guy keeps selling them pipedreams and they keep funneling millions into his bank account. He's just as corrupt as the rest of them.

Now that's one helluva pipedream that Paul is corrupt. As if he gets the money for himself.
Shame on you for dissing a man known for his integrity. If you realized how corrupt the GOP leadership is you'd know that Rand Paul is just the guy they are planning to railroad despite this. It's a pipedream that Rand has a chance. Conservative are always told they have to wait. The Progressives, basically the oligarchs, don't want a conservative to run.

Yeah, Mark Levin is on record as saying that he would actively campaign to defeat RAND Paul if Ron did that.

They would primary Rand in a heartbeat. No, they are playing ball.

Rand will be co-opted no matter what Paul does. It's just noise and a red-herring. The only insurgency within the GOP that has happened was with Ronald Reagan. Even he was co-opted later through the advisors. You guys need to wake up.

BTW I saw yesterday that Paul didn't get a speaking position because he was required to give Mitt a hearty endorsement. I actually think that was a fair request. Still glad he didn't do that though.

BTW Levin is wrong about the Constitution on Presidential war powers, supporting a "living Constitution" and is a most rabid NeoCon. Those guys despise Paul. That's often a sure sign you have one in your midst.

ya this will go well. He is what the people need right now, a President who will stick up for the common man and try to do what is right. What conservatives hate about Paul is that he will do just those things I mentioned and anybody who speaks out about this "great country's" leadership is immediately labeled stupid. Just look at people like redneckraider, anything that questions his precious republican leaders his only response is "you're stupid"

The people need a President like Ron Paul, the rest are just controlled by money and making certain people richer is their only goal.

So, another way of saying this is, he's not the President the people deserve, but he is the President the people need?
