The market finds a way... Kidney trade to become common
This is a really cool story about this year's Nobel prize winners for economics.
The long and short of it is, they've found a way to trade kidneys on the open market without "society" being all weird about it. The long and short of it: "A man who would not donate a kidney in other circumstances may do so if his wife needs one. If their blood types do not match, they can be paired with a couple in the mirror-image position" No more waiting list until a matching organ becomes available. http://www.economist.com/news/financ...obel-economics |
