I'll call it now..Ohio goes Romney

As of last night:

165k less early votes for Obama compared to 2008

98k more votes for Romney compared to 2008 for McCain

Obama won Ohio in 08 in early voting and actualy lost on election day but early vote carried him.

That's a huge ****ing swing. It will be close but I'll call it for Romney

Thanks Karl.

As I posted in the 538 thread..

Rasmussen Ohio: It is over (my words)

Quote:
Forty percent (40%) of Ohio voters say they have already cast their ballots, and among these voters, the president has a comfortable 56% to 41% lead.

Both candidates earn better than 90% support from voters in their respective parties. The president is ahead 50% to 41% among voters not affiliated with either major political party.

As I said, Obama won Ohio purely on early in 2008. The actually votes cast on election day carried for McCain but wasn't enough to overcome the early vote.

The early vote turnout is significantly down for Obama this year. If pattern holds true then election day votes could very well carry the state for Romney.

What % did McCain beat Obama by on election day votes?

False premise. 1 in 8 jobs in Ohio are auto related. Obama saved the industry. Romeny's plan would have permanently killed the auto history.

You say that and yet reference Rassmussen who still has the state at 49-49.

All I ask is if (when) Obama wins, you come back in and admit that you were wrong; no qualifiers, no excuses, just that you, and all of the Republican prognosticators, were wrong. If Romney somehow wins, I will do the same, without blaming voter suppression or any of that jazz.

That's all I ask.

If I'm wrong I'll say I was wrong. I have never had any problems with doing such.
