If the Chargers are in a position to draft the 2nd best QB in the draft...
should they?
The best QB will of course be going to us. Rivers is awful. His regression this year is ****ing awful. He's... just... he's awful. Awful. |

Who is that? Barkley?
I think we go tackle and deal w/ QB in the next draft.

Rivers must have the record for most strip sacks from the blind side. It's no wonder he's throwing INTs, he's walking for his life in the pocket. It makes me wonder why we spent jillions of dollars on Meachem when we could have used that cash to shore up the O-Line. Rivers has proven time and again that he can throw to anyone, (except Meachem), he just needs more than 2 seconds to do it

Hopefully they draft the next Ryan Leaf again, and KC drafts the next Manning.

I'd like to see two franchises drafting sons of the same draft class, who build their teams up into the new kings of the division. The old dies (Donks after Manning) and the turds stay in the basement. We, of course, would come out on top all the time, though. |

I hope they trade up and take one of these below-average guys coming out in front of us.

The Chargers need to fix that O-line as well as move on from Rivers. That whole offense needs an overhaul. I'm not saying Rivers is a bad player when he's given a clean pocket, but I don't see him as a Super Bowl winning guy. I feel the same way about Jay Cutler, but the Bears defense is so good he might get by.

They will stick with Rivers.
He's legit. Just needs a couple receivers who aren't dog shit. And an OL.

Depends on who's going to make the picks.
If it's someone competent, Collin Klein plz. If it's AJ Smith, it'll probably be some scrub corner or wideout. |

Sadly, I'm not. Sammy Davis, Buster Davis, Larry English come to mind immediately. AJ is still living off that trade in 04, and really, Rivers sucks, Eli has two rings, Merriman is washed up and long since off the Chargers, and Kaeding was a choke artist and a headcase.
