Thoughts and prayers needed
I don't usually do this but things are bad. Really bad. I'm not sure someone I love is going to make it through the next 24 hours.
You see, my football team has AIDS. It picked up the HIV virus long ago but in the last 4 years things have gone from waiting to dying. Now everyone can see that it may well all come to an end very soon. In fact, the docs say the next 24 hours could be the defining moments. An aggresive strain called pioliofungusamongus has taken over and things are bleak to say the least. Pain meds don't work at all. They say the only thing we can do now is to hope this new drug called chuntifan will kill the piolifungusamongus. We'll know soon. It's an experimental drug and completely unproven but it's all we have to "clench" to. If you believe in God or a higher power... even if you don't... send up some prayers or postive thoughts that this nightmare may end with a happy outcome. The soul is willing but the body is weak. The next 24 hours will tell us a lot. Thank you. You guys are the best. |
