Life Dishwasher question...

So the dishwasher seems to have half-died. When you turn it on you can here "noise" but nothing is happening. No water and the spinner isn't spinning.

The thing is 15 years old. Worth fixing or time buy a new one?

Buy a new one. Do those things have belts?

I just buy a new one of it doesn't work.

But it sounds like a belt. Do they even have belts on a dish warshington machine?

Do NOT buy a Maytag to replace it. Whatever you do, do NOT buy a Maytag to replace it. We bought one four years ago and it's the biggest POS we have ever purchased. Unlike our Maytag washing machine which is still running strong after 25 years.

There's a reason for that. Maytag made some really poor decisions. Almost like they were tanking it to drive down the price for Whirlpool.

Definitely throw money at an old appliance when you can purchase a relatively high-end one for under $1000.
