Edit: Believe it when a serious news outlet picks up on it, not twitter or reddit

I was wondering if there was anyone that actually dislikes Kurt Warner?

Easily the most likeable football player I can think of.

I agree. I get mad when people say tebow got blackballed in the NFL because of his faith. Warner is devout as they come. The difference is Warner was good and tebow was awful

It is hard to imagine anyone on CP admitting to liking an opposing player, especially one that is pretty good. Usually you can't even get an acknowledgment that even a HOF-level player doesn't suck.

That program on him today - they were replaying that throw to Holt - I can't believe how far and high he threw it - it was amazing after watching Smith - Brady gave me that same sensation last go around in SD - he's ****ing really good STILL.

He had a weird career. Came out of nowhere, was great, then kinda sucked and seemed washed up, then got great again.

Here's a story that will interest everyone.
In 2008, Tom Brady was my fantasy QB and the ****face ended his season with an injury in the 1st half of the 1st game. So I pick up Kurt Warner off the free agent garbage pile and he took me to the Fantasy Super Bowl.
Then he went to New England and in bad weather, absolutely sucked, and I lost the Super Bowl. True story.

Warner's tenure with the Giants reminds me a good bit of Smith's tenure here. With the added factor that Warner's situation with the Giants got him injured a bunch as well as scrambling for his life to find shitty receivers.

Oh, and that beatdown on his thumb the Chiefs gave him when he was a Ram lingered a bit longer than expected.
