Does the live draft lose credibility when top QB's don't attend ?
The live draft is a spectacle that the NFL has continually tweaked like the pro bowl or the extra point (at some point). Location, length, format, etc etc

This year it was mentioned that mariota and Winston will both not be attending in person. After the Geno incident I could see why they might not want to attend in person. However, both of them threw at the combine which is somewhat out of the norm historically as far as QB prospects are concerned.

Will we start seeing more and more players not attend this event in person? How will they try to modify the format to keep it interesting and engaging for the fans if no players attend.

Or Maybe the top QB prospects hate Chicago

I guess I've never understood the appeal of having potential first rounders there anyhow. I suppose it gives the talking heads something to pontificate about during a very mundane and orderly process. I prefer seeing shots of the fans over watching the grim look on a players face as he slides down the board. Does it affect the credibility? I can't see how. Them being there has no impact on where they will be drafted. I thought this was an odd question and quite a bit of a stretch.

I don't watch the draft... I will stay tuned via the web, but I have no interest in watching the "drama" of the day.
