Bob Sutton should resign...he's wasting his time

Age 65...wasting what's left of his life watching countless hours of game film and concocting usually masterful game plans every week that work despite damning hits to the roster via injury....only to have his time and energy wasted on gameday by an inept and oft incompetent offense.

Why keep going? Why spend another second of his time crafting a defense good enough to win a Super Bowl and be burdened by an offense that always implodes at the worst possible moment?

Sutton should walk in to Reid's office...."Andy, I'm done. Thanks for the opportunity. It's been great. The guys...love em to death. But I'm done."

He get's to coach an NFL team I mean why would he just want to quit something so prestigious?

12-4 and your asking him to just quit on Andy Reid?

I mean **** Greg Robinson I think we can agree to that but Bob Sutton has done an admirable job with some of the key injury like DJ and Houston out for most of the season.

I agree, need to draft an awesome ILB this year and maybe a safety if we don't keep Berry. Who knows if DJ will be back or not?

How he wasn't fired after that Indy playoff loss I'll never understand. Now another playoff gem where he has our star pass rusher back from knee surgery covering Antonio Brown. The guy sucks shit. You never hear about teams trying to hire him in any capacity. Wonder why that is. Oh I know. It's because he's a ****ing idiot.

Because unless they are going to give him a head coaching job, they can't lure him away, genius.

Defense holds a team to 18 and you complain about the D.C.? **** out of here.

They held the Steelers to 0 TDs. Less than 20 pts on FGs. In the playoffs. At home.

You telling me you had Super Bowl aspirations for a team that cannot score 3 TDs? A team that takes 7 minutes to score when they're down by 8 pts in the 4th?

As far as the Indy playoff from 3 years ago...Reid could have used that 7 minute offense THEN. Fat Andy doesn't seem to understand "situational football".

Newsflash : The Defense isn't the problem

Yeah what was up with that? Let's take our best guy and test out his reconstructed knee by chasing the fastest guy on the field.

Brilliant!

Yeah, that might be the key. I was baffled by the number of times he dropped back into coverage though. I would have liked to see him just move up and be the fourth member of the D-Line (DT role) on far more plays. But, maybe Sutton saw that wasn't being effective.

At least we somehow managed to slow the run down after the first half (really after that first quarter or so).

Houston was being doubled a lot, and Ford couldn't do anything. Ramik didnt even start filling his lanes until the second half, dude is trash.

He made some stupid **** up's with Houston in coverage, but his defense again came through.

Outside of the Jarvis Williams coverage sack, Chris Jones was the only player up front who got a pressure on Big Ben and it was on the first play of the game.

The defense wasn't the problem last night.
