My point is that outside of 2012, the QB classes every given year are populated with guys that are always "projects" with certain flaws and drawbacks.

Very true. However the diehard fanbase here on CP needs to realize that this QB we might pick in the first or second rd will sit for a minimum of 2yrs. So there is that.

Nah I don't think so it's going put extreme pressure on Alex Smith and he will try too hard and fail so he may not last the season if so.

I think if they draft a quarterback we would see him sooner than later.
