Non Football Topic: Any Clock Collectors or Repairman here?
I inherited a King Arthur Grandfather clock (model T200 - Fairhope, Alabama) built in 1983. During transport one of its weight pulley cables broke. Also the cabinet key broke in my hand. I'm finding out that the clock company has be defunct for over 20 years and, as far as I can tell, I don't have any local clock repairman.

I'm not quite sure what to do.

Other than that, I've got nothing. I live in a city with a watch repairman and I'm not sure that I own a standalone clock, so I have no context.

weight pulley video: (for chains, not cables)



cabinet key should be easy , you could probably just go to a locksmith and order a similar lock and replace the whole lock & key for super cheap

I used to try to fix clocks when I was a kid, my mother used to swear to kill me every time I did.

Honestly; the key; do you have both pieces? Is the door open?

I'm with everyone else but before you put anything or do anything have you searched for used groups/ forums for the clocks?

I would say one wrong part and you could screw the pooch. Victrolas' were like that. All original and broken worth more than working and not original.
