I guess.
Although if you tell me we’ll win or lose with Mahomes, I’ll take my chances.

Tackles were bad.
Receivers were meh. Play calling had no rhythm. And Mahomes wasn't great either. The whole offense unimpressive. |

the o line was really good in the first half and became overwhelmed in the second half, which isnt surprising. we desperately need another pass rusher this year, we need another ingram move like last year. how dangerous the bills pass rush is was the difference in this game. chris jones is a beast but he cant do it by himself. clark, karlaftis, and dunlap are mostly mia, although clark had a decent game i thought.

The Tackles, considering the quality of competition, played more than well enough to win. They weren't nearly the problem I thought they would be Then again, I'm quite drunk...

Brett Veach is really no different than Dayton Moore as far as I'm concerned. Both won a championship relatively early on in their tenure but both also have had mixed success in the draft, in FA, and with trades. Both also tried to rebuild while remaining at the top, resulting in neither being great enough to win it all or bad enough to get a high enough pick to make a difference.

I'd like to see Spags not call the plays on defense and see how it turns out. He had the lead, which he says his scheme works best under and continually loses 4th quarter drives to the good teams.
Our offense, while not spectacular had us the lead deep into the 4th quarter. We can not expect them to go game in and game out and have to rely on them to make a last minute drives to win against good teams. That is unsustainable and relying too much on luck, rather than execution. On defense, the 1st down runs, the deep passes, tackling issues, going to the well one too many time with blitzes, lack of turning pressures into sacks. It just goes on and on with this defense. If it isn't one thing, it is another. I'm just so damn tired of Spags defense, and him tbh. Never seems to even middle of the pack defense and that is so disappointing. |
