***Preseason Week 2 other teams***
Cedric Tillman looks nice. I wanted us to draft him.
The Browns could make some noise in the AFC North if Watson plays anywhere near the 2020 Watson. Probably the toughest division in the league though. |

Someone said that CLE was going to win the AFC-N earlier today on the radio. I wasn't giving the show my full attention so I couldn't tell you who it was exactly, but the other guy sounded like he was on board with it.
I think Watson would have to have a career year to even sniff a Div title. The sleeper is PIT, imo. No one really has them doing much in 2023, but I think tey might sneak up on some people.

DTR has been impressive all 3 games so far. Could end up being a solid pick for them, he at least looks like he could be a capable backup to Watson. He wouldn’t make it to the PS, especially with the rule change to allow 3 active QBs.

That was an interesting stat the Eagles analyst brought up. Dallas Goedert has the highest yds per target in the NFL over the last 2 seasons? Better than Chase, Jefferson, and Tyreek? I’d be lying if I said I would’ve had him even in the top 30 or 40.

Watched a recording of our game last week so stayed out of the game thread but you know who I was really impressed with? A guy I liked in this year’s draft- AT Perry. He’s so much quicker than you expect when you see him because he’s so tall. Like a skinnier, quicker Big Mike Williams. Could be a really nice 6th round pick by the Saints

I was shouted down about Hyatt enough in the draft process with people saying Cedric Tillman was actually better so when it came time for my dynasty draft I grabbed both of them with my last two picks and dammit one of these guys is going to pop off |

Definitely interested in watching the BAL/WAS game.
What will the new and 'improved' Ravens offense look like, epecially now that Lamar has a say in how it's constructed? But far more intriguing to me is seeing what EB's offense is going to look like against a top tier defense, granted in a preseason game. But still, it should be a very interesting game to watch all the way around. I watched a highlight reel of the WAS/CLE game, and two things stuck out to me: One, Sam Howell looked the part. Yeah, okay, he made a couple mistakes, but overall, he looked composed, played well under pressure several times, and more importantly, he didn't turn the ball over vs. what began as a pretty ferocious pass rush from CLE. And two, EB called a solid game, but he also showed an ability to adapt to that pass rush by changing the launch angle, utilizing a moving pocket and even scheming receivers open. He even took deep shots early. In other words, he's not just calling plays to call plays. At least not entirely. Case in point, by the third series he figured out that Wylie was oversetting and getting beaten to the inside (shocker), and adjusted his play-calls accordingly, resulting in 6 points on the next drive. Should be a pretty interesting game if you like Xs and Os and the chess match aspect of football.

Philly/CLE battled to an 18-18 tie.
Mariotta started. First series. Browns plow down to the 2. Fumble. Eagles recover. Next play. Gets tackled in the end zone for a safety. https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/401547661

Looks like Browns fans like Lonnie Phelps. He was great last year for KU.
