Okay this is funny.. My son and I downloaded this movie about 3 months ago and watched it... Nice to see they are on top of things...

Just trying to help you out. They were started in 1977, a year after U2, but neither reached any popularity until later.

U2 changed their sound repeatedly during the 80's and 90's, although they've become very stagnant in the past decade.

OK. Wasn't sure if you knew something I did not. I really came to love U2 in the 90's with Achtung Baby and Zooropa then I went back and got all their old stuff and loved it too. I haven't cared much for the last two albums as a whole but still worth the money.

true enough. it's funny, my relationship with my dad is the absolute embodiment of the classic 'your dad gains 100 IQ points from the time when you hit sixteen years old until twenty-two years old.' I was always a huge know-it-all smartass, and it took growing up to realize the old man actually had much more on the ball than I had previously realized.

but yeah, if my dad had said that about depeche mode & U2, I'd have immediately looked it up. that's just who I am
