Could anyone suggest a lawyer for me
I need a good personal injury attorney. My job where I got injured is being very evasive about wanting to give me workman's comp. My injury will require therapy and possibly surgery so I need that covered I also could sue the homeowner where this happened. I'd appreciate any help from you guys.

Yeah, I was kidding for the most part. I'm accident prone so I keep my walkway salted. I do throw some cash at a guy to clean my gutters because he looks like he could use the money and I'm accident prone. I always thought I was doing something right, but I should probably stop before he takes a gainer off my roof.

We rarely use our front door. But I damn sure see to it that the sidewalk and steps are cleared for the mailman, guests, etc.

It's a bitch too because we have a north facing house. They never see the sun in the winter so they are always the last to thaw. Any dripping/runoff from the gutters re-freezes and I have to treat it again.

Well it will be interesting to see how this develops. I would think the employer would be more at fault than the home owner, but there are a lot of questions that would filter into that.

Is there a policy at the work place that emphasizes safety on deliveries?
Has any accidents happened like this before at your work place?
Could you have reasonably made two trips from your car to the door and minimized the risk? (I am assuming you drove to the house)
Was an ambulance called and if not is it possible you aggravated the injury by driving yourself somewhere?

Good luck. I know that must be super painful.

Having been a delivery guy..absolutely this...you don't want to drive..but it's ok to have someone drive 5-10 miles to your house and then have to walk up an icy incline in a foot or more of snow to bring your food to get a dollar? useless ****ing idiots without a single clue.

I always tip the pizza delivery guy $5-7...........and I agree, clear the path and put ice melt on the walk and stairs if you are having people (any people) coming by.

well your are one of the few great customers...I clear my drive/sidewalk to for all delivery people...easy to do.

Can't disagree. I am curious if the work place could ask the homeowners to make sure any ice is taken care of before the delivery gets to their door? Many folks probably don't think about it. Certainly they could ask but I am betting it seldom is asked.

And yes their are witnesses 2 neighbors picked me up out of the snow and my gfs sister and husband who lived close by got me out of there.
