Who is worse? Bob Sutton or Greg Robinson
Your initial choice would probably be Greg Robinson, no question about it, but think a little deeper. Sutton has 5 defensive pro bowl calibur players to work with. In comparison the 2000 champion Baltimore Ravens had 3.

This. We stopped blitzing and sent only 4, and still got torched. At some point, Sutton should've tried something, anything, different. He failed to adjust second half defenses around mid-season. If I had the time, I'd work up the points/yards allowed every game by quarter.

Having said that, GRob was BY FAR the worst... his patented "spinner" defense drove me nuts. I just got nauseous remembering that...

The Colts essentially had one threat in the passing game on Saturday... Hilton and the Chiefs still left him wide open virtually the entire game.

The 2003-2004 Colts team in the no punt playoff game had many more weapons (Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark) and was a much better overall offense than the 2013-2014 Colts team the Chiefs lost to Saturday.

The Colts told us before the game that they watched the film of the Broncos game where Eric Decker burned us for 4 touchdowns and they were going to emulate that. They only had 1 receiver capable of matching that effort and Sutton let them do it and never tried to defend it. Pretty easy to pick the worst DC between the 2 of them. Epic fail.

It wasn't Bob Sutton's fault that Andy Reid's game management allowed the Colts to have 7 possessions in the 2nd half.

In the infamous 2003 no punt playoff, the Colts had 6 possessions in the entire game.

If we fail to adjust at the half and fail to be creative with our talent again next year, I'll confidently say that Sutton stunk worse in 2 than Robinson did in three.
