Doesn't this all just feel like 2011 all over again?

Coming off an unexpected division title, the Chiefs stroll into 2011 and lose to the Bills 41-7, then follow that up with a 45 point loss to Detroit. All of a sudden the reports start coming in that there's major trouble between Pioli and Haley all the way down, and the rest is history.

Any possibility a similar situation is playing out again? I just can't figure out why Reid looked so uninspired on Sunday. If nothing else we know the dude is a competitor. No fire from him at all. I don't know, the similarities are striking enough I figured it was worth posing the question.

I mean, Dorsey mailed in the offseason. Why shouldn't his player mail in the season itself?
The only TRULY valuable guy they let go was Albert, period.

I always admired the way Flowers conducted himself and played here, but he wasn't a good fit for this scheme at all, second period.

Everyone else was perfectly replaceable... Dex was upgraded, Schwartz COULD have been easily replaced or upgraded but Dorsey bungled it, Asamoah? **** him, who am I missing here? Probably no one even worth remembering.

If that list of jags (outside of Albert) was enough to make these guys fold up, then to hell with the whole damn franchise.

I don't think it has anything to do with players buying into Andy.

I think it has everything to do with that this team's biggest issues heading into the offseason were offensive line, secondary and wide receiver and they did nothing to fix the issues there.

It's like they are going in reverse here. The defense is a press-man system and the secondary stinks, the offense is supposed to be very receiver friendly and a majority of them stink.

The QB needs a clean pocket and big play receivers after the catch and there's maybe 3 on this roster.

I think last year it was just the perfect storm of a garbage schedule and smoke and mirrors on defense.

Dorsey/Reid were both ENTIRELY too confident in their ability to turn junk into spunk... a bunch of well coached jags look a lot better against Case Keenum than they do against a real up and coming, well coached guy like Locker.

I'm still thinking they can turn it around... but its going to take a looong look in the mirror for every player, Reid and Sutton... this crew CLEARLY bought into last years hype... which is another failing of both Alex and this defense.

They both have plenty enough experience to know better, if they cant pull the upset sunday... welp, gonna be a long season for those jackoffs not me, I'll be fishing and enjoying my life while they suck ass.
