What would you consider a successful season?

Given all of the injuries that our team has had to endure so far and the lack of any impact players via FA, what would you consider a successful season for this year?

Yes, that means a guard or some other hated position before it means QB... you guys go ahead and dream, the rest of us will be left to deal with what is.

"Tanking out = New QB!" is the silliest shit I've seen in 5 years.

Dorsey/Reid aren't taking a huge shit on their handpicked guys already, just not gonna happen... for better or worse this is the crew you better get used to.

I think they'd bite the bullet and trade back at a loss from the top 3 unless there is any semblance of a Calvin Johnson / Josh Gordon WR available.

I doubt they'll keep all 12-14(?) of their '15 selections.. Trade away a top 3 1st rounder and a 3rd to get a 1st and an extra 2nd.

Then Dorsey and Reid can **** right off too.

Alex Smith is, at best, a bandaid to hold together a bullet wound until the future legit franchise QB can be brought in and fix this god awful mess.

If they really want to trade picks, they should just try and trade Tamba and Charles now to get picks and just trade said picks for Gordon when Cleveland ultimately tires of his shit.

I'm pretty ****ing done with being a shit team, getting an easy schedule, beating (barely) bad teams the next year and lulling people into thinking we are a good team.

Build this thing the right way.

You have to remember SNR this is the Chiefs we are talking about. So of course they would.

0-16 and you think Reid, Dorsey, and Smith all survive? If your house ever burns to the ground, I'll know where to find you. You'll be laying in the ashes trying to catch a few zzzs and thinking you need to pick up a glade air freshener tomorrow.

They won't go 0fer, but they need to tank hard. Like 2/3 wins.

I've started to realize, or atleast ponder the possibility, that ownership is as bad and greedy and cynical as its thought to be by a great many of you.

But if you guys think "The Clarks" are going to abandon ship on Dorsey/Reid and start second guessing/overruling their decisions Jerruh style, then you're all nuts, nuts like a Payday candybar.

The Pioli scandal was all they could handle, it damn near created a brain freeze I'm sure of it.

My cynical side has had a coming out party tonight, but that doesn't mean I've lost track of reality... the Clarks are sticking with Dorsey and Reid until doomsday.

SOC flew banners, changing THIS is going to take a live rounds stealth bomber run... I'm not saying its RIGHT after this absolute collapse, I'm just saying it IS.

Getting the 1 - 1 pick is not success..that's the ultimate failure. As often as not, that pick is worthless anyway unless you trade back.

Play-offs is the measuring stick for success.

That said, I'm having my doubts about how successful this season will be.

I think there is something to the "learn how to win" mantra, but I don't really know what.

Enough with building around defense, or a running game, or whatever.
