Chargers have real shot to win it all, finally

Looks like the SDSPM is at it again. WOW!

http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/...hampions-acee/

It is possible the Chargers saved the best for last.

Come the first Sunday in February, we might not know whether to raise a toast or cry in our beer. Maybe we’ll do both.

It’s not preposterous to believe we could get the opportunity to find out.

We’re three days into training camp, so this isn’t a prediction.

What it is, is the best perspective that can be gleaned at this point. It’s a spectrum of possibility. It is legitimate hope, and it is prudent realism.

The Chargers, in what may well be their final season in San Diego, can be a good team. A playoff team. A Super Bowl team.

We’re not saying they are a good team because, well, we know better. Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us a few dozen times, shame on us.

We’ve seen promise unravel, at various times, in a steaming pile of historically bad special teams, seemingly infectious injuries, ridiculous penalties, overconfidence and Marlon McCree.

But, really, this Chargers team has the potential to be what no Chargers team has ever been before

lol little chiefy, lol.
Nice deflect.

Did the Chiefs sweep Rivers last year or nah?

Did Chase Daniel beat Phillip Rivers last year or nah?

That couldn't possibly happen because they have Phillip Rivers, right?

Yeah, he doesn't seem to care that the Chiefs were missing players to injury, but makes the excuse for SD.

**** him. He's trolling and he needs to return to his usual position of obscurity.

According to this donkey troll The Packers win the NFCC game bc they have Rodgers and the Broncos win the SB bc they have Manning. All franchise QB's better than Russell Wilson.

Oh wait..

Seems like every year someone writes something about SD winning and they always seem to find a way to shit all over themselves.

My goodness you are stupid. Go back and re-read post 125 in this thread. KC went 9-7 last year and so did SD. Just because SD lost both games to KC last year does not mean they will sweep SD this year.

On that same note, just because the Broncos swept SD and KC last year does not mean that will happen again this year.

Do you understand this or are you intentionally stupid?

Having a great QB certainly helps with winning. If you don't understand this, I'm sorry. Of course you are a little chiefy so you really can't understand this simple logic.

I'm a Broncos fan and making one simple point: having a legit franchise QB helps the team win. KC does not have one, SD does, Denver does and we do not yet know if Oakland does.

Gee, thanks for unearthing this breaking news. Care to inform us how wet water is, or if the Sun is bright, or not?

if you need that clarification than ok. Hey dude, water is wet and don't ever stare directly into the sun with your naked eyes because it's damn bright.

We understand the whole franchise QB thing. But guess what? We still swept SD last season. Will we do it again? Who knows. But to totally dismiss us and suck off SD is ignorant.

Well, at least when they are at home, they'll have some new menu items to choose from...

Among the Chargers' new food items for 2015: The Diego Burger

On Wednesday the San Diego Chargers invited members of the media to taste the new menu items that will be available at Qualcomm Stadium this coming season. As much as it pains me to say I was not there to taste any of the new items, I can only imagine how incredible everything was via these lovely photos provided by Delaware North Sportservice.
New concessions items include:
  • Diego Burger -- American Cheese with fried chile relleno, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickle chips
  • Cali Surf Burrito -- shrimp, beef, potato fries, cabbage, pico de gallo, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and cheese
  • Philly by the Foot -- Philly sandwich up to 3-feet long
  • Chicken Buffalo Sandwich -- chicken tenders with buffalo reaper sauce, bleu cheese and coleslaw
  • Loaded Skins -- smash potatoes with cheese, bacon bits sour cream and chili
  • Breakfast Mary in a Cup – spicy bloody Michelada mix, bacon on a stick, celery, pickled egg and olives
  • Veggie Nacho -- roasted corn, peppers, pico de gallo, cotija cheese

New suite items include:

  • Deli Baguette -- roasted turkey, apple wood smoked bacon, genoa salami, soppressata, provolone cheese, spicy giardiniera, parmesan 3-foot baguette
  • Kettle Chips -- with bacon ranch and green onion dip
  • Tamales -- jalapeno and cheese wrapped in masa dough
