Just throwing this out there...

I can't fathom the number of things that always seem to happen with the Chiefs and from a fan's perspective, I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through.

It's like an endless cycle of the same stuff and I know it's maddening. I'm not posting this to be an ass or as some veiled attempt to talk smack. I realize that Denver isn't doing anything special this year unless they turn things around on offense. And, I sincerely long for the days when the AFCW is a beast again - overall with all teams playing well.

You guys have had an amazingly weird season and things got really bad this week. Injuries suck and losing guys like Charles are hard to overcome. It's like the franchise takes two big steps forward in the offseason and then three steps back.

So, just saying that I'm not going to get too involved with any commentary because you guys are tearing your worlds apart with all the talk around players, coaches, next year... there's no need in trying to pee in the pool at this point.

I hope things turn around, you'd like to think that Reid has an idea as to what his plan is and how to overcome it. Maybe it's time to blow it up again, but hell, that seems crazy.

You guys are a great fan base and you deserve to sit on top for a while, I do hope that happens soon. Sucks to be at this point so early in the season. Tex and others will flame away with the mule tool rhetoric and that's fine.

Thank you.

What can you do? The ownership is incompetent and not serious enough about winning. I think the organization is dysfunctional and because of that consistently produces negative results.

All this same sh*t that happens to us should be looked no further than ownership. Ownership is the problem and we don't have much of an organization.

MHM I think you are one of the more classy posters on this board even for a rival. THat said I don't want any pity post from rivals Enjoy your reign while it last. I hope it don't last long though and start of next year the three teams in this division Chiefs, Raiders and Broncos will start having it out with young quarterbacks and see who goes to the top.

Your team is on borrowed time with Peyton Manning them bolts in his neck wont hold too much longer.

Im just glad i didn't renew my NFL Sunday Ticket.

As the Chiefs continue to fail, my interest in the NFL continues to wane. I've watched maybe 2 games outside of the Chiefs this season.

For the 10 millionth time , taking a QB #1 overall or even in the 1st round just magnifies the chances you are wasting a high value draft pick on a bust.

This team's a joke. After 40+ years of false hope, my enthusiasm is dead. I'll continue to watch them and laugh at their ineptitude. Hopefully I'll be alive if and when they ever get their shit together

Yep. NFL as a whole has faded into background noise on Sundays for me. I'd go out of my way to make sure I could watch every game before but now it's just apathy.

I think if the league hadn't changed so much since I first started watching KC, I might still care more. The game we have today just isn't the same, whether the Chiefs are winning or losing.
