Who stood out in tonight's game?

I wasn't able to watch it, but I heard about Maclin. About time we have a player that won't take any shit. How did Tyreek do? Who else stood out? Thanks.

Hopefully, but they've been beaten physically a little much for my liking.

Just because I'm providing an example to give some perspective on our young DB's perfomance in the preseason means I'm saying that every player has the same trajectory?

Also, I need some specific examples of this with Nelson. I watched the game fairly close a second time, and I don't remember Nelson sticking out in a negative way at all. All I saw was pretty solid coverage from him.

Not sure what everyone else was seeing, but aside from the 1 rookie mistake on Kenny Britt, DJ White looks like he understands the game. He was in position and right there on throws. He also had a good blitz. I feel like some posted are putting the pick play on him, but that was all Eric Murray.

As for Ehinger, if we replace him, I'd like to see Jah Reid there over Fulton. Fulton is too slow for my liking.

Ehringer lacks strengths, but he's athletic and smart. I'd rather that than just strong but can't move.

I think it depends on whether or not he's a consistent liability.

As DJ noted, it isn't likely to get any easier for him over the course of the season, although he won't be facing Aaron Donald again any time soon.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him replaced in the later half of the season by Fulton, just so he can get some perspective and rest a week here and there.

We can't keep going into every season with a project lineman we hope gets his shit together by midseason. In 2013 we did it with Fisher, in 2014 we did it with LDT, and now we're possibly going to be doing it with Ehringer.

Well, it's with young developing draft picks. The other option is to overpay the likes of asamoah, schwartz, Allen etc.

It sucks but it is what it is.

LDT was drafted in 2014 but didn't appear in a single game.

He started in his second season in 2015.

Yep, and that's one of the things that preseason shows. Without much game planning - do the players win their one-on-one matchups? Like you said, the DL hasn't really done that.

It's clearly obvious that the Chiefs haven't done any game planning and are keeping it simple for the young guys.

The same couldn't be said of the Rams, who brought it from the second series on. I couldn't believe it for a split second until I remembered it was a Jeff Fisher coached team.

I hate that loser asshole. Six winning seasons out of 21. He should be working as a high school assistant.
