Chiefs release KeiVarae Russell

Rand Gettlin-I'm told the #Chiefs have released defensive back KeiVarae Russell. Special teams numbers game. Super talented player. Likely to be claimed.

Dorsey definitely went of the reservation this year with Russell (academic fraud) and Hill (woman beater).

He's currently 1 for 2. Let's hope it doesn't get to 0-2.

Personally, I'm ambivalent, mainly because it appears they hit on Jones, Ehinger, Murray and White. Robinson has upside while I think it's possible that Dadi Nicolas becomes the steal of the 2016 class.

If they had cut Russell and missed on a bunch of other picks, I'd probably be a little more concerned but it appears they didn't.

Moved the ball at will on them and it took a questionable call for them to seal the game. Try again Spanky.

What? The Chiefs were thoroughly outclassed in that game. Fans here were livid.

Yup, I think he'll end up being a solid pickup for the Bengals, given some time.

To be fair he cheated on a test. At a normal school it's a game suspension I believe. Notre Dame is a year

Moving the ball at will in that game seems like an exaggeration. If you can't do anything in the redzone, what you did in the middle of the field doesn't mean that much. The Chiefs were chasing the Bengals that entire game. Not commenting on what that means other than the actual game itself.

Dead receiver, Jones and Burfict literally cost them a playoff win. No, the Bengals have had some success but most of their problem players are still problems.
