Hypothetical Expansion Draft

Good Morning Football had a hypothetical expansion draft. You only get to protect 3 players on the Chiefs. Who do you protect?

Rookies cannot be selected

Ultimately, this. I'm trusting that San Antonio/London uses their number 1 overall pick on their own QB and leaves Mahomes alone.

I'm assuming that the players just drafted can not be in the pool.

I did, however, forget about Chris Jones, who I might strongly consider protecting in place of Berry.

Mahomes, Hill, and Chris Jones. Although if the newest draft chass is protected I would replace Mahomes with Peters.

That's a good point. Jones is set to be a beast for years.

Justin Houston has become a neverending conundrum. If he looks anything at all like in the past, you protect him, Peters, and Mahomes. Otherwise, substitute Kelce in there or Berry. Edit: how did I forget about Tyreek?

You should be able to protect way more than three players, though. I could build a dynasty by picking the fourth-best player on every team.
