I remember going to Venture as a kid when I lived in Springfield. I'm trying to recall if they had slurpee machines. But there were only a few years where I lived in a place large enough to have one.

There was one on 87th street IIRC and pretty sure it was right next to Kmart. You could go listen to cheap car stereo systems, Kraco maybe?, and play with the equalizers and boosters. And yeah the snack bar.

I have great memories of Venture. When K-Mart or Walmart didn't have the action figures me or my brother wanted we'd check there or this other place that was a giant box toy store that was themed like a castle. Anyone know what place I'm referring to? It's been gone for a long time now. Children's Palace or Children's Castle maybe?
