Wanya Morris may start at LT this week

THIS! Taylor is the RT. He was told he'd be a RT and highly paid for a RT.

He's really cheap but looks to be a great pick for a 3rd rounder. If he can hold that position, that frees up $20 million in cap space we'd spend on a LT or spend all our draft capital to move up to get a competent LT.

Wanya has looked good so far. It would be pretty big if Veach found a cheap LT in the third round that we can plug in for the next 3 years. Creed, Bolton and others will need contracts soon.

Feels like there's a decent chance we have our future OTs in 2/3 of the guys currently on the roster. Not sure we can afford the hole in our roster considering the other positions that also might be needs this offseason.

Looked good, I like him. Donavan Smith is a little better probably due to experience. The drop off is not steep.

If he can start there next year, that frees up major resources for WR.

At this point there is zero reason to put Smith back in. The kid played a good game and we may as well let him get the experience. The drop off is not big enough to waste the rest of the season on a guy who’s a goner next year.

Props to the kid, the game did not appear too big for him at all. He was damn solid.

Interesting how these ripple effects can go.

If we’re able to add major resources at WR next year, being able to get a LT in the third round will be a major reason why.
