Let's Talk About the Bills.

Early Vegas line is Chiefs -3 at home.

Buffalo (6-6) coming off a bye, has seen their offense improve under an interim OC, but five of the six the teams they've beaten are at or near the bottom of the league: Giants, Jets, Commanders, Raiders, Jets. Last week lost a close one to Philadelphia in OT. Bills had over 500 yards of offense.

Chiefs (8-4) well, we know how they've been doing. Finally back at Arrowhead after two road games and likely with two defensive starters out. How do we beat 'em?

Tough to score without Pop but Andy and Patrick find a way. Defense regains championship form.

Spags held Buffalo to 24 at Arrowhead last year. A better defense can hold down Buffalo again this year.

Chiefs 20, Bills 17
Spags had a healthy defense then. But they are a team "jumping ship from their coach" as they implode as you will see this tomorrow.

Do you think they'll need to score 28ppg in the playoffs to win games if the defense is healthy?

It's a pretty simple point... I think the defense is better than that this year.

Ya'll are so hellbent on seeking failure, but I'd think even in these meltdown times people could agree the defense isn't complete ass this season when they're healthy.

This line in some Vegas books is a pickem. Last Sunday night Chiefs were -3 1/2. That’s one big swing. Sharps are going all in on a .500 ball club that’s 1-4 on the road. Makes no sense. Chiefs should win by 2 scores.

68% of the money is on the Chiefs so the Sharps are on Kansas City, while public is split 50/50.

Vegas probably wants Buffalo and the Under here.

Meh, I don’t know what the issue is. Just not interested in having that particular argument again. Maybe he’ll be prophetic and somehow KC stumbles into a SB win scoring 14 points. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I didn't make any predictions, the original post you quoted was just laughing at the idea that after 5 years of people bitching about how the offense can't sustain their output in the playoffs and need help from the defense, we now have a more than capable defense (when healthy) and someone was setting the offensive bar to 28ppg.

I didn't say anything about the struggles of the offense, nothing about 19ppg, nothing about winning Super Bowls scoring (now?) 14 points.... nothing about the offense at all, except to say I wouldn't expect they need to score 4 touchdowns per game if the defense is healthy in the playoffs (especially given the current set of playoff teams).

Is that really so hard to comprehend, or crazy illogical? They'll obviously need to be better on offense if they expect to win games in the playoffs.... does that really need to be stated in a post about the quality of the defense, just to suit all possible angles?

I've never really thought you were a troll... maybe you're just having an especially bad week or something and a post about good defense triggers you into talking about the offense.

Enjoy this beautiful Arizona weather, it's gonna be alright.

I'm literally not trying to start an argument here. I even said, "you win."

And I don't know if we have to score 28 points/game, but I do feel pretty certain that 19 pts/game isn't going to cut it, especially when we're averaging that against very average to below-average defenses, and that's not the kind of defenses we'll probably be facing come the playoffs.

But as I said a little earlier, I'm not interested in arguing with you, or anyone for that matter, about our current offensive scoring since Week 6. It's a dead horse, imo. I'm good with it at this point. We'll either score more points over the last month and into the playoffs, or we won't.

The weather is pretty nice though. left the windows open last night; cool breezes all night long, lol.

THIS !!

And with a beat up defense that will be on the field longer because the offense struggles with more turnovers, struggles in the red zone it doesn't look good BUT I do feel confident against the Bills.

I think Kansas City has to find a way to score 24 points tomorrow to win.

Hopefully we don't waste a half running short passes, gadget plays and outside runs or I doubt we hit 20.
