I like how they reference the cold-blooded murder Cassian had to commit to start Rogue One. At least...I think that's what they were referencing? Or...is he murdering a lot of of randoms these days to hide his tracks?

Also the French resistance and WWII "listening post" vibes from the set pieces are undeniable. Really great job with that stuff.

We're two years prior to the events of Rogue One.

That murder was just another murder. The guy he killed in R1 wasn't even a soldier -- it was a cohort; a source that was injured and a bit of a loose end.

Does it demonstrate his willingness to just tie those loose ends off at a moments notice? Yeah. Show some evolution from him shooting that imperial in the first season after the other guy had a heart attack? A bit. To your point, yeah - I think it DEFINITELY shows that he's willing to kill a rando to cover his tracks. He's seen a bit -- I don't think he really gives a rip about it at this point.

But I don't think it's any sort of direct tie in to Rogue One. I suspect Bix will be looooooooong dead by the time all that happens. I'm not sure she survives this block, to be honest. They've got her taking a pretty dark turn here.

Yeah, we've seen him evolve already. He's already willing to do things "for the cause" that he wasn't willing to do when we first met him. He has channeled Luthen there.

Did we ever get confirmation that Tay was offed, off-screen?

From a pure acting and writing perspective, Andor is the best stuff we've seen from the Star Wars universe, period, IMO. Yes, even better than Empire.

It is taut and emotional and impressive. I especially appreciate the delve into the emotional toll of being a rebel.

Oh. That makes it even more juicy, then.

I found it interesting they referenced an off-camera killing that way. Just another day for Cassian.

I think that's EXACTLY why they did it that way.

To demonstrate how danger and death has become commonplace for him. And draw a distinction between him and Bix.

Yeah - that about covers it.

I can't decide if it's a weird character quirk or the performance itself, but I'm getting a little bored of seeing Meero say/do/look the same way in the face of EVERY possible situation.

It's her character.

She's the ice queen of the ISB.

I sincerely hope she survives the series because she's adorable

She is what the Empire orphan program made.

A creature of control, precision, calculation, and duty.

Yeah, after watching the 3 together at once, I'm going to watch each 3 story arc as a movie, binge the 3 shows. Thats the way to watch this series season.
