This is too bad; I always respected Elway as a player (well, unless he was whining). It has to be devastating. Golf carts can be dangerous; was playing golf at Swope back in the 80s and there was considerable alcohol involved, one of the guys wasn't paying attention and almost ran us down on the tee box. Not sure how he did it, ended up spinning around and sliding backwards down a hill; the cart went right between us. Come to think of it, this was the same guy that almost flipped my boat.

Not me. Always hated the the turd, even during his Stanford days. He's been a drunk for decades. Tragic event for sure, but there's a reason it happened. People ought not to lose sight of that.
