So Bob Dole is sitting here last night, unable to sleep and channel surfing. Cruising past NBC, Bob Dole rather enjoyed the music Bob Dole heard and listened to the rest of the song. Excited about perhaps finding another little-known group to listen to in the car, Bob Dole anxiously awaited Conan's follow-up.

"Joseph hmffmmmumblerrrrmmmtk, everybody!"

Bob Dole can find sites that list whose going to be on TV for the next week, but can't find any info regarding who was on last night.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, but it's another dead end. Nothing listed for the 20th except actor Chazz Palminteri.

Any other ideas?

By golly, Bob Dole found it the hard way!

Went to the Wall of Sound web site and searched artists for Joseph. After trying only 5 different results, found a page for Joseph Arthur and read that he appeared on <i>Late Night with Conan O'Brien</i> February 20th.

Not that this has a damned thing to do with football, but it <b>is</b> Friday after all...

Apparently Bob Dole drinks too much, too.

After finding the Joseph Arthur info yesterday and listening to a couple of snippets on Amazon.com, Bob Dole thought he'd listened to one of them before and liked it quite well. So Bob Dole grabs the track off Napster and listens to it, thinking the entire time that Bob Dole already had that MP3 somewhere.

Bob Dole gets home from the bar last night and just sticks the 200 disc player on random and lays back, and about 3 songs into it the damned song plays. Bob Dole jumps out of bed and runs into the room to see what the display says, and it says "Wedding Album." Well Bob Dole knows that what Bob Dole is hearing sure as heck ain't Duran Duran, and that one belonged to the recent ex and is gone anyway.

Pushed stop, opened the changer, took out the CD and it's the actual CD! Not one of Bob Dole's homemade jobs, but the actual store-bought CD released in April, 2000.

Bob Dole has absolutely no memory of buying the thing at all. None. Zero.

Either Bob Dole has far too much music in Bob Dole's collection, or Bob Dole needs to cut back on alcohol consumption. (Okay...both of those things are probably true.)

Bob Dole thinks it's the government just messing with Bob Dole's mind. Maybe aliens.

Looking at the cover art on Amazon.com, <b>that</b> doesn't even ring a bell. Bob Dole is about ready to drive back home and look in the portfolio on the coffee table to see if it's even in there.

The last 6 months have pretty much been a living hell, but this is absolutely too freaking bizarre even for Bob Dole's life.
