Defensive Additions
I have seen a lot of threads about an assorted number of players we would like to draft or aquire. I am interested in defensive players only for this thread. I was thinking with Williams getting an extension Lamar Arrington might be trying to find a new home. They didn't exactly think he fit into there scheme. Do you think he would fit in well here? And what other defensive players do you think we should get?

The Redskins have to keep Lavar Arrington. He's to early in his contract, it would actually cost them more to cut him than to keep him.

Don't want Arrington. The reason he was riding the pine in Washington was he wouldn't play within the scheme.

We don't need someone who wants to freelance. This defense needs help in that area as it is.

I don't think he was freelancing. The knock on him was he was only good at killing the QB. Everytime he was in you knew he was basically going to be blitzing. So I think they want him to freelance more. He is a way better option than anything we have at LB besides DJ PERIOD!!!!!! Better than Barber, Mitchell and Griffin.

Cool, but he is a decent LB. I don't think he should be a priority but would be worth considering.
