You know what really grinds my gears?

Fast food restuarants or for that matter any place that screws up your food order. Come on it's not that hard to not mess up someones food. I just ordered from Taco Bell and I don't eat lettuce or tomatoes. I order a crunchwrap supreme, taco and two double decker tacos. The morons put lettuce and tomato on my crunchwrap. The ticket even says -lettuce - tomato. Atleast they almost got all of my order right.

That's good to know. I probably eat something with tomatos in them every day.

Also, I read something to the effect that they become "more nutritious" when cooked, as opposed to other fruits and vegetables, because of the lycopene in them becomes more plentiful when the cells of the tomato are broken down.

Throw up? Are you allergic, or a 4 year old?

Really? Prostate cancer runs in my family. I lost my great grandpa over it and my grandpa just got rid of it.

I would say 4 year old. The lettuce makes me gag and tomatoes are too moist. Not my style of food I guess.

That's ok I guess. I know people who won't even try anything other than meat and potatos. Picky eaters is a pet peeve of mine. It really limits on where you can choose to eat, or what you can choose to cook.

One main thing I am really interested in doing is when I turn 21 I'm going to go to the bar with my brother and try all kinds of different beer. You guys always talk about all these different kinds of beer on here and it makes me ready to try them. Kind of pointless to have someone buy me a sixer of it and not even like. Pretty much making me waste my money.

I'm not really a picky eater. I just don't like very much stuff. If you really care to read here's what I hate

Lettuce, tomotoes, onion, pickles, peaches, black eyed peas, black olives, jalopanos (allergic), radish, carrots, spinich (sp), mushrooms, peppers, cucumbers, celery and the list could go on for pages.

I find that under 21 people are more prone to be picky eaters (Not you as you'll eat anything). My folks made me eat stuff I didn't like when I was young. Stuff like brussels Sprouts and spinach. As you get older something happens to your taste buds or the ph of your saliva or something. At least if you have tasted it in the past, you may find you like it as an adult. I thank my parents as I love spinach, brussels sprouts and many other foods I probably wouldn't have tried if not for them. I had smart parents.

I think it has more to do with the parents and how they eat, and run "dinner time". I've known parents who will cook alternate meals for their children because "they just won't eat ____". I can understand if its spinach or brussel sprouts, but if its something simple, just make them eat it. Lots of children learn they can get away with only eating what they really enjoy (usually junk food) by whining and becoming a "picky eater". Then that behavior continues when they are older, and they truly do become picky.

JMO. I don't like brussel sprouts.

DING! DING! DING!

Parents who cook their kids separate meals or bow to their kids every whim are ****ing idiots. Sure, there are certain things you don't make your kid eat (certain veggies, etc.) but for the most part, they'll eat damn near anything.

It starts early, too. Our stance is: if he won't eat it, he don't eat. The Boy's only 18 months old, but he learned quickly that if he doesn't eat what's served, he gets kinda hungry later on.

Amazing how he now eats pretty much everything.

I, however, still won't touch brocolli (sp?). Nasty, evil, vile weed that's unfit for human consumption.
