I'm pretty sure it is a picture of him after he took a nasty fall at a game. I have met Steve and his wife a couple times you will not meet a better lot.

Thanks Dartgod & RedNeckRaider. Just hearing lately about how others teams fans sometimes treat him & thought maybe someone got WAY outta line.

There are alot of idiot fans everywhere. I have tailgated with Steve at Oakland games, it would be strange but if one of our fans were to raise a hand at him while I was with him...it would make great Planet fodder as I would go to the dirt with him in a heartbeat.

It was an accident at Arrowhead but it could have been serious, so I probably shouldnt have posted the picture. Below is a post from Rana, concerning the ordeal that happened in November 2004.

Good Morning Gentlemen....the wife here....
Yes, Stevo (FDE) was the man you saw being taken away on a stretcher. He's okay. We just now got back from the emergency room where they did a cat scan of his head and he received stiches above his left eye and right across the bridge of his nose.
What happened was this (according to WierdWolf)
Stevo went down the steps to where the railing is at the end zone there, and leaned too far over and fell and hit his face on the metal (?) steps down below. I guess it's about a 4-6 ft fall. The First Aid there at the stadium was concerned about a head injury which is why he was taken to the hospital. KC Dan and I followed him there once the game was over. (There was only a few minutes left in the game when it happened) I hate emergency rooms, nothing happens quickly there.

He's gonna have a HUGE black eye tomorrow but will survive. Lynn (WierdWolf) may have some additional info when he logs on tomorrow but I thought I'd let all you early birds know what was up.

Thanks for all the kind words! I know they mean a lot to him.
Talk to ya later!
Rana
