Grunhard vs Wiegman

Who is the better center? And it's not the offseason until after about 9pm.

Grunhard is a big, meathead power guy.

wiegmann is a smallish technician.

Weigman has gotten screwed out of a lot of pro bowls. Partially I think because Will Shields and Willie Roaf and maybe the coaches didn't want to make the line too Chief heavy. It is BS though when guys like Barret Robbins and Tom knee diver Nalen make it over Weigman

In the Herm Edwards system, Grunnie would have been a far better center.

Weigmann excelled under Vermeil's offense, with more line-pulling and active run blocking, rather than the constant downhill stuff we're doing now. I believe we need a line of 320+ lbs. guys to make that work.

It's for this reason that I don't think Casey will be back next year.
