Kimble Anders came back at age 34 after (what was believed to be) a career ending achilles tendon injury after torching Denver for 145 yards in '99. After sitting out all of 1999, he came back in 2000 at age 34 to run for 331 yards on 76 carries for a sterling 4.4 average YPC. Even with a rebuilt foot, Anders ripped off a 69 yard run in 2000.

If Priest suceeds in his comeback, he's in good company with one of my all-time favorite Chiefs, Kimble Anders.

'03 GB game...down by 2 tds in the 4th right? coming back like that then the fumble by Green in ot leading to that 1st down td pass to EK to keep our undefeated season alive

I'll never forget Pete Stoyonavich lining up for a field goal longer than any he'd tried before, against the Donks. I thought "no chance", but I watched. As the ball sailed through the uprights, I was jumping and yelling so much, that people on the streets were looking in on me.
